What is an Ontario Company Key?
A Company Key (CK) is required to access your Ontario Business Registry (OBR) profile and make filings under the corporate statutes. Corporations and other entities created or registered on or after October 19, 2021, will receive the CK as part of their registration.
How is an Ontario Company Key?
It is provided in one of the following ways:
1. To the official email, or registered office or other business address, as applicable When requesting for a CK with an official email on file, the CK will be emailed. If there is no official email on file, you can have it mailed to the Registered or head office address or Principal place of business (depending on the type of entity) that is on file. If you do not have access to the address, you can also answer additional questions to request for your CK.

What is legal name change?
A legal name change can occur because of marital status changes (legally married, widowed, divorced) or name correction. Please note, for a legal name change, a consent letter is required, which will be prepared by us and to be sent to you by email for signature.

How to put share in percentage?
Total share is calculated by adding up each shareholder's share number. Example: your share is 60, your spouse's share is 40. Then total shares = 60 + 40 = 100.
